Document Description
The proposed project includes increasing the landfill height above existing permitted final elevations, changing the finish-grade, contours, increasing the permitted depth of excavation by up to 25 feet from 42 feet below existing grades to 67 feet below existing grades (depending upon the alternative selected), extending the operational hours to 8:30 p.m., adding lighting to accomodate evening operations, and constructing and operations, and constructing and operating a sludge facility. Two alternative elevations have been identified for the landfill's final cover: 1) 60 feet above the currently permitted peak elevation and, 2) 115 feet above the peak elevation.
