Document Description
The project consists of re-designing and completing construction of a skate park located at the northwest corner of 5th and Harrison Streets in northwest Berkeley. The skate park site measures approximately 90 feet by 200 feet for a total of 18,000 square feet. Initial construction of the skate park was halted due to the presence of hexavalent chromium in the groundwater. The re-designed skate park, with the mitigation measures that are included in the new design, will reduce the environmental impact of the hexavalent chromium in the groundwater to less than significant.
