A request for a coastal development permit to: 1) grade for and construct a single-family residence and an approximate 1.25-mile access road which will result in the disturbance of an approximate 179,00-square-foot area on a 40.6-acre parcel; and 2) approve a variance to allow the access road on slopes greater than 30 percent. The project is located on the west side of Highway 1, approximately one mile north of villa Creek Road, (residence site is approximately 1/2 mile south of China Harbor), north of the Community of Cayucos.
