Document Description
The project includes all conservation and mitigation measures, whether undertaken by IID or by farmers, tenants, or landowners, in connection with either the conservation and transfer of up to 300 thousand acre-feet per year of Colorado River water pursuant to the Imperial Irrigation District/San Diego County Water Authority Transfer Agreement and/or the Quantification Settlement Agreement (QSA); or compliance with the cap on IID's annual diversions of Colorado River water established by the QSA. The project will result in impacts to 23 species listed under the California Endangered Species Act which requires issuance of an Incidental Take Permit.
