In characterizing the proposed improvements to the existing park site, the following generalized changes have been identified: (1) the expansion of the park site to encompass the area of an adjoining City-owned vacant lot; (2) the alterations to off-site roadways; (3) the introduction of new and the expansion of existing recreational activities (three additional softball fields, skatepark and or multipurpose area); (4) the physical alteration of the project site to accommodate the proposed recreational uses including revisions to the park's vehicular and non-vehicular circulation systems; (5) the introduction of additional sources of lighting, including the reconfiguration of existing sport lighting and the addition of new pole-mounted and wall-mounted luminaries; and (6) parking lot improvements
