The proposed project would result in dredging between 3.6 and 7.8 million cubic yards (mcy) (2.7 - 6.0 million cubic meters [mcm]) of sediment from the Los Angeles Main Channel, West Basin, East Channel, East Basin and Cerritos Channel. The amount of dredge material is dependent on the approved project depth identified through the feasibility process.
