The project is the southward extension of the existing marginal wharf about 1,025 feet in length and 220 feet wide, as well as dredging approximately 230,000 cubic yards of material from Berths 24-1 through 24-5. The purpose of the project is to accommodate expanded general cargo operations at the National City Marine Terminal.
