Present Land Use
Installation of six 90-foot tall light standards on the northern half of the Intramural Athletic Field. The project would include pedestrian and vehicular safety improvements to adjacent on-campus sidewalks and roadways.
Document Description
The UCLA campus proposes to construct a two-level subterranean parking structure to accommodate approximately 1,500 parking spaces in the central campus, under the Intramural Field. Removal of the Intramural Field from use during the approximately 24-month construction phase would result in a significant reduction in capacity for existing recreation and athletic programs that occur on that field. Therefore, a project-specific mitigation measure to maintain recreational program capacity during construction, has been made a condition of the proposed project.
