Document Description
This project corrects deficiencies in thirteen components of utilities infrastructure, including high voltage electrical distribution; building electrical power; natural gas distribution; energy management systems; water distribution; sanitary sewer system; storm drainage system; closed circuit television distribution; communications lines; fire alarm and security system; steam distribution; exterior stairs; and street and security lighting. The project will install an inter-building fiber-optic backbone within the campus by upgrading existing and installing new inter-building media pathways, including manholes/pullboxes, buried conduit and backbone cabling. Individual buildings will connect to the backbone by upgrading or installing telecommunications closets, intra-building pathways, cabling and jacks within individual buildings.
