Document Description
The water company supplies water to 35 homes by way of diversion of a portion of the Kaweah River by gravity flow. Floods of 1997 shifted sand, gravel, and silt into the diversion intake. HIgh flows throughout 1998 provded adequate water, but lower flows in 1999 will leave the diversion dry. The water company will remove just enough deposited materials to restore gravity flow into the diversion dith at amounts that have been utilized over the years.
