Document Description
The purpose of this project is a permanent facility for users of the 4x4 obstacle course at Hungry Valley SVRA. The restroom facility will be installed adjacent to the large shade ramada on the north side of the obstacle course. The facility will consist of a 20' x 20' steel-reinforced concrete pad supporting a earth-tone split-face concrete/steel reinforced double restroom structure. This structure meets all current earthquake and hurricane requirements. The structure will have a steel roof rated for 200 lbs. per square foot. The location is remote, having no water or sewer service, therefore the restroom will be a vault style, requiring a pumping service for evacuation. Dual 1000-gallon sealed polyethylene vaults will be used. These vaults will be completely separate and sealed from all concrete and soil. The excavation for each vault will be 8' x 9' x 4'6" deep. The restroom also incorporates an odor-free vent design and is universally accessible for wheel chair access.
