Document Description
This project is located just north of Ignacio Boulevard in the City of Novato and includes the filling of 1450 linear feet of intermittent and ephemeral streams tributary to Arroyo San Jose. An estimated 1210 cubic yards of fill would be discharged to these ephemeral streams. To mitigate for wetland habitat loss in the ephemeral streams, the Operator will do on-site and off-site mitigation including open space lands at the Burdell Ranch Wetlands Mitigation Bank. The mitigation includes the restoration and creation of a new stream channel. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-1404 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Karen Pell/Four Star Investment and Management Company.
