These designations were assigned to the project site by the Dixon City Council with the approval of the Northeast Quadrant Specific Plan in 1995.
Document Description
The proposed Flying J Travel Plaza includes a fueling station, restaurants, and convenience store on approximately 20 acres located west of Pedrick Road near Interstate 80 in the City of Dixon. The project will include 121 parking spaces for autos, 19 parking spaces for recreational vehicles, and 192 parking spaces for trucks. The facility would be open 24 hours and can dispense fuel for up to 12 passenger cars, two recreational vehicles, and 12 diesel trucks at one time. The proposed project would also include several signs throughout the project site, including an 85 foot tall sign adjacent to Interstate 80.
