Document Description
SMUD proposes to build a 500 kW photovoltaic (PV) power system on approx. 6.5 acres of land adjacent to its existing PV power plants. The project will utilize the existing grade and terrain of the project site and will disturb the native soil only at specific column foundation locations and where underground trenches are required. The PV power system requires no fuels for operation and maintenance, produces essentially no audible noise, and only moves periodically throughout each day to track the sun.
