The proposed project is the construction of six residence halls (providing bedspaces for approximately 807 students and totaling approximately 126,900 assignable square feet) and one dining hall (approximately 30, 500 asf) on the College Nine and Ten site in the central University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) campus. The College Nine residence halls would be sited on the northeast edge of the site, the College Ten residence halls would be located at the southwest corner of the site, and the dining hall would be located in the center of the site. The residence halls would be 4 or 5 stories in height and the dining hall would be 3 stories in height. The dining hall building would contain dining facilities for the college and space for a University Center with a lounge, dining hall, kitchen, and conference rooms.
