Document Description
The California Department of Food & Agriculture is proposing to relocate the existing Truckee agricultural inspection station from downtown Truckee to a new location approximately 3.5 miles east of Truckee on the north side of I-80, and immediately west of the existing California Highway Patrol Station. The proposed project comprises demolition of the existing facility and building a new station. The new structure would be sited off I-80. It will have seven lanes for passenger vehicles, and three lanes for trucks and larger recreational vehicles. The Department of General Services is providing the CFDA with project management, design services, and environmental planning for the project.
