Document Description
The project consists of placing small dikes across swales in order to retain runoff waters to create seasonal wetlands for wildlife enhancement. Two separate sites have been selected for enhancement. Site 1 is located near Jackson Creek and site 2 is located near Tully Canyon outlet. At site 1 a dike will be placed across an annual watercourse to create a ponded area of approximately two acres. At site 2 a dike will be placed across a small swale off channel of a larger watercourse with a diversion structure placed in the watercourse to divert water into the ponded area.
