Document Description
The proposed project consists of the reestablishment of Reclamation District 2062's southeast boundary to provide flood protection to approximately 4,000 acres of agricultural land, 12 single-family residences, livestaock and more than 2,000,000 in agricultural equipment and machinery. Reestablishment of the southeast boundary would be accomplished through the construction of a new non-profit cross levee between the levees on the San Joaquin River and Paradise Cut. The new levee would be approximately 8,000 feet long, have an average base width of 150 feet, an average height of 16 feet, and a minimum crown width of 20 feet. Construction of the new levee would require approximately 400,000 gross cubic yards of borrow material. Localized drainage channel that would convey stormwater drainage to Paradise Cut through a 30-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) culvert.
