The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF), through the Vegetation Program, will be using prescribed fire to treat approximately 500 acres of mixed conifer vegetation along Sly Park Road and along prominent ridge tops north of Sly Park Resevoir located in El Dorado County. Among the benefits of the proposed project is to reduce fuels and fire hazard .
