Document Description
Stanford University proposes to use 14 acres of a 162.98-acre parcel to temporarily stockpile earth materials, and to provide a construction worker parking area during the construction of the Sand Hill Road Corridor Projects. Standord University proposes to excavate and haul earth materials from the Corridor Projects sites to the proposed project site, and stockpile the materials for reuse at these construction sites as and when fill materials are needed. Although several construction parking lots have been identified at or near the Sand Hill Road Corridor Projects sites, a parking lot with 200 spaces is proposed at the project site to provide additional parking for use if needed. The proposed site would be used as a temporary stockpile and parking area for the Sand Hill Road Corridor Projects for a maximum of 5 years. The site would potentially hold a total of 70.300 cubic yards of excavated materials placed in 7-foot-high piles. Excavated materials stored at the site would consist primarily of earth materials, but would also include lesser amounts of recycled base rock, concrete rubble, and asphalt.
