Document Description
The project area was damaged during the "El Nino" floods in winter and spring of 1998. One repair site will be stabilized by keying into the levee, filling and compacting soil, and subsequently revegetating the area with a native species mix. The remaining repair sites will be repaired by clearing and stripping the damaged areas, grading, installing filter fabric and compacting levee fill with two feet of rock revetmant up to the levee crown and revegetate with native grass. The toe of the levee in all repairs will be planted with tules.
