Document Description
Development of a Samuel Merritt University (SMU) academic and administrative office building on part of one (Site B of Block T5/6) of four development blocks that make up the Oakland City Center Project in Downtown Oakland. The proposed building is approx. 238,550 gsf, 10-stories (206 feet to the top of the penthouse) over a single below-grade level, with a mix of small and large classrooms, teaching labs, research labs, simulation space, student clinic space, in addition to administrative workspaces, a library, and common areas. Anticipated average weekday on-site population if approx. 934 people. No parking would be provided.
