Document Description
The nature and purpose of the proposed project is to provide recreation facilities and programs to meet the diverse need of county residents and visitors. The improvements will serve the Ladera Heights Park Planning Area that is expected to be 49.1 percent deficient for park land by 2010. The proposed improvements involve the construction of soccer fields, a golf driving range, a baseball batting cage, a concessions and pro shop, park office, restrooms and support park facilities on two (2) vacant parcels with an area of the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area that is owned and operated by the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation.
