Document Description
The CDFG has issued an Agreement Regarding Proposed Stream Alteration (SAA #5-355-99) ("agreement") to the City of Huntington Beach, Public Works Department ("applicant") in conjunction with their proposal to construct the following channel improvements: (1) Replace the Springdale Street culvert with a larger concrete box culvert, approximately 200 feet long: (2) Replace earthen channel from Springdale Street upstream to Edwards with a concrete lined trapezoidal channel approximately 10 feet deep, 9 feet wide in the bottom, and 1.5:1 slopes. The existing earthen channel has 1:1 slopes and is unvegetated; (3) Replace the earthen channel from Edwards Street to Station 151=90, adjacent to the Shipley Nature Center, with a concrete lined trapezoidal channel approximately 9 feet deep, 9 feet wide in the bottom, and 1.5:1 banks. The existing earthen channel has approximately 1:1 banks and is unvegetated; (4) Place rip-rap (ungrouted) on the north bank from Station 152=22.16, adjacent to the Shipley Nature Center, to Goldenwest Street.
