Document Description
The applicant proposes to modify the previous approval to expand the city boundary northward and westward and extend the length of the breakwater, wharf and boardwalk. The applicants propose a multi-phased expansion plan with modifications to Phases II and III of the project as they were previously analyzed in the Expanded Initial Study dated August 1999 and as adopted with the Mitigated Negative Declaration on November 8, 1999.
Phase I of the project consists of improvements to the existing facilities and was determined to not require land use approval. The majority of the improvements proposed under this phase of the project have been completed. This phase consists of utility water and sewer line upgrades to serve the existing facility and the proposed development, construction of restroom facilities within the boat sales and service building, construction of slump stone and wrought-iron fencing, installation of a card-key access gate, construction of 150 to 250 boat slips and installation of additional pavement.
