Document Description
As a result of preliminary engineering project enhancements were created to reduce impacts including: extending the bridge over the 101 Freeway to include bridging over Commercial St., shorten the west portal of the tunnel from approximately 500 ft. to 250 ft., at 1st St. and Lorena, acquire unutilized property from Los Angeles County to provide two lanes of traffic in either direction, and rather than a surface lot, a parking structure is being created to accommodate 200 park & ride spaces.
