Document Description
The Proposed Action would consist of constructing a causeway bridge on El Rancho Road that spans the entire San Antonio Creek floodplain and provide a flood-free crossing for floods up to the 100-year flood level. The bridge would be approximately 2,600 linear feet and would extend 1,630 feet north and 970 feet south from the center of the existing bridge. The causeway bridge deck would be approximately 35 feet wide and the height of the causeway roadway would be approximately 10 feet above the level of the existing bridge. Demolition of the concrete portion of the existing bridge would include removal of the bridge deck. The remaining portion of the existing bridge would be left in place to reduce the impacts on the wetlands.
