Document Description
To address ongoing demand for affordable graduate family-student housing, UCLA proposes to expand the University Village family-student housing complex by redeveloping the 140 older apartments constructed in the 1950's on the southern 4.8 acre portion of the Sawtelle Boulevard site of the existing University Village. The project would consist of demolition of 140 apartment units and 133 associated parking spaces, and construction of approximately 186 new apartment units and 465 parking spaces. The net addition to the University Village complex would represent approximately 46 additional apartments with on-site parking provided at a ratio of 2.5 parking spaces for each new apartment.
