Reasons for Exemption
1. The reservoir has been in existence since 1947 and no new cnstruction activities will occur. The reservoir provides a permanent water source for indigenous fish and wildlife in a rather arid location. Actions taken by the State Water Resources Control Board will establish a minimum pool and prevent the reservoir beginning emptied for irrigation purposes.
2. This project will not cause significant adverse impacts on any sensitive environment and will not result in significant cumulative impacts.
