The affected parcels on the CSUS campus are designated as Residential (R-3) and Commercial (C-2) under the City of Sacramento Zoning Ordinance.
Document Description
The CSUS Campus Master plan Modification has been proposed to improve and expand the development of the unimproved south campus area. This modification is described as a Major Master Plan Revision. The primary goal is to create a development plan for the south campus. The Modification components include the relocation of a parking structure from the north campus area; adjusting, enlarging and renaming the Arena/Convocation Center/Recreation Center and the Capital Public Radio Building, addition of three one level structures to house the Regional and Continuing Education Program and a three story Research Office Building. The University House (existing) is to be removed from the Master Plan. Additional surface parking will be located on the north, east and south side of the project area.
