This project proposes a general plan amendment from A-G, Agricultural-General (40 acre density) to SP, Special Planning Area (40 acre density); a Zone Change from "R1A," Single Family Residential and Agricultural District to "LM," Light Manufacturing District; a "blanket" Use Permit to allow residential and limited aviation related business uses in an "LM" District; an amendment to existing Use Permit conditions by amending Condition No.3 to allow an increase in the number of flight operations from 2,500 to 5,000 operations per year and deleting Condition No. 15 which prohibits flights before 6:00 a.m. and after 8:00 p.m. This property consists of 14 parcels (34.28 to 48.17 acres in size) around a private airstrip on both sides of Lambert Rd. in the Carbondale area of Amador County.
