More specifically, the RTP is a twenty year, comprehensive transportation plan for all modes of transportation. NCTC is required to adopt and submit an updated RTP to the CTC and Caltrans every five years. In addition, the RTP is used to documents NCTC's priorities for transportation funding in the region.
