Present Land Use
The present land use is an existing quarry; zoning is AG-2 (Non-Prime Agricultural, 10 acre minimum parcel size) and M-M (Light Industrial); General Plan designations include Wildfire Hazard Area and Woodland Productivity Area.
Document Description
The applicant requests Use Permit approval to allow gravel crushing and washing in association with an approved quarry operation. This proposal would amend the approved permit for the gravel pit (UP-98-07) which did not include the crushing and washing of rock extracted from the site. The addition of the crushing/washing operation would not change the mining Plan of Operations or Reclamation Plan as prescribed under the prior permit.
