Document Description
The applicant requests Use Permit and Reclamation Plan approval for a mining operation. The proposed mine site is existing , having been quarried up to 1,000 cubic yards as allowed per the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act. As a result of the applicant's desire to quarry further, a Use Permit and Reclamation Plan are required to enlarge the operation. The applicant proposes to expand the quarry to include 15 acres, along with a +-2-acre equipment storage area located to the south. Aggregate will be excavated by front-end loader, screened and re-moved from the property. Blasting, crushing and batching of aggregate are not a part of the permit request.
