Document Description
The county proposes to construct Phase 7 of the Hammond Trail which will run from the northern end of Letz Road to the recently completed Clam Beach trail segment. The proposed trail addition will be approximately 3500 feet long, varying in width from 9 to 14 feet. The project includes development of a gravel parking area for 6 to 8 vehicles and an interpretive kiosk at the northern terminus of Letz Avenue. Portions of the trail will consist of asphalt concrete pavement, while other sections will consist of compacted crushed shale. The portion of the trail south of Vista Point will be wheelchair-accessible.
