The Union Pacific Railroad proposes to construct a guardrail on the Cantara Loop bridge near Mount Shasta, Siskiyou County. The applicant proposes construction of a tubular steel guardrail on the inside curve of the railroad bridge, to prevent railroad cars from failing into the Sacramento River in the event of a derailment.
