The project is to adopt and implement the Redevelopment Plan Amendment for Redevelopment Project No. 1-1986, Amendment No. 2, El Cerrito/Temescal Canyon Sub-Area. Although no development or construction is proposed at this time, implementation of the Redevelopment Plan Amendment is expected to facilitate residential, commercial, industrial and public facility development in the Amendment Area in conformance with the County of Riverside Comprehensive General Plan, to address various environmental issues, and to mitigate existing public infrastructure system deficiencies. The primary purpose of the Amended Redevelopment Plan is to eliminate conditions of physical and economic blight that hinder the full development of the Project Area.
