Document Description
The project includes division (TPM 14,485) of an existing 6.11 acre property located at 6067 Shirrell Way and owned by the Goleta Presbyterian Church into two parcels of 4.54 acres (Parcel A) and 1.57 acres (Parcel B). The Church proposes to add approximately 12,458 square feet of new building area to exising church facilities on proposed Parcel A (8-CP-028 and 98-DP-037). The United Cerebral Palsy Foundation proposes to construct 13 one-story attached residential units for persons with cerebral palsy on proposed Parcel B (98-DP-028) and 99-CP-076). A lot line adjustment is also proposed between the 6.1 acre property and the adjacent 18.95 acre Fairview Center property. A transfer of a 318-foot strip of land (0.17 acre) in the southwest corner of the 6.1 acre property to the Fairview Center property is also proposed for (98-LA-019). The transferred property is proposed to be redesignated from "Residential, 4.6 units/acre" and "Design Residential, 4.6 units/acre" to "General Commercial" and "Shopping Center" (98-GP-028 and 98-RZ-023).
