Document Description
The county of Kings is analyzing conditional use permits [ 98-16, 98-17 98-18, and 98-19 ] for the Chamberlain Ranch Planned Dairy Development, consisting of four dairies midway between Hanford and Corcoran, bounded by 10 1/2 Avenue to the east, Nevada Avenue to the south, Laurel Avenue to the north, and 13 1/2 Avenue to the west. The applicant is J.G. Boswell Company. The four dairies would be located on approximately 5,915 acres of land. The total number of dairy stock for the proposed four dairies would be 47,700 animals, includong 24,804 lactating cows.
