Document Description
The college is proposing a new five- to ten-year construction plan for its main campus, Long Range Development Plan (LRDP). The LRDP was originally certified by the California Coastal Commission in 1985 with subsequent amendments certified in 1988 and 1991. The LRDP allowed for the construction of over 83,000 ASF to accommodate growth in student population and educational curriculum. The proposed amendments are in response to increasing demand for the College's existing academic programs with enrollment growth projected by the State at approximately 2 to 3 percent per year for the next 10 years.
