Document Description
The project is a revision to the San Marcos Highlands Specific Plan due to requirements from the regulatory permitting agencies. The changes focus on a reduction of the development footprint and unit count to allow for a minimum 400-foot wildlife corridor along the northern boundary of the project site. These changes also result in a 13.1-acre reduction of the development area in the Specific Plan and an overall reduction of development yields of approximately 14 percent (198 residential units instead of 230). The project includes the construction of one public and two private parks, as well as an interpretive nature park.
