Document Description
The prupose of these investigations is to better define the boundary of the landfill underlying the Victoria Golf Course. The field work will require no more than one week to complete. The field work will consist of excavation approx. 51 holes with a backhoe by scraping lightly into the topsoil cover. This work will be located within the out-of-play areas on the golf course near the south-eastern border of the course.

The proposed excavating is consistent with the definition provided in Section 15304 of CEQA Guidelines as a Class 4 Exemption that consists of a minor public alteration in the condition of land which does not involve removal of mature, scenic trees. This exemption specifically applies to section 15304 subpart (f) which lists "minor trenching and backfilling where the surface is restored" as an example of exempted activities.
