Document Description
The project consists of removing 40,000 to 50,000 cubic yds. of sediment material from an intermittent channel along AEWSD's South Canal, which has been maintained by the District since construction of these works in 1965. Channel protection and other improvements will be provided as part of the restoration.

Emergency Repair ( 15269(a)) This restoration project is to repair, restore and replace facilities along facilities along Arvin-Edison Water Storage District's South Canal Right of Way damaged by flooding in 1998. It is anticipated such work will in large part be funded by FEMA. (Disaster No. 1203). Replacement or Reconstruction (15302) This activity involves reconstruction of existing facilities involving negligible or no expansion of capacity. MInor Alterations of Land (15304) This activity is maintenance dredging of material deposited by the 1998 floods, for which all applicable permits are being obtained.
