Document Description
The project is a removal action comprising excavation and off-site disposal of approx. 700 cubic yards of lead contaminated soil from a former burn pit. The burn pit is located within the residential housing area at the north end of Treasure Island on Bayside Drive adjacent to Buildings 1207 and 1209. The historic burn pit consisted of a circular area approx. 70 ft. in diameter. The former burn pit was graded over prior to the construction of housing in 1968.
