Document Description
The project proposes the construction of four three-story buildings a total of 262,500 gross square feet, and a 7,500 square foot restaurant building on two parcels totaling 14.4 acres. The DEIR also addresses the potential environmental impacts of a retail development on an adjacent 16.2-acre parcel, a portion of which is currently developed with the Petaluma Cinema (no longer in operation). The project would include the preservation of 0.76 acres of wetlands on-site, the creation of an additional 0.33 acres of wetland on-site. The applicants would also provide for 7.38 acres of wetlands off-site. This mitigation plan has been submitted to the US Army Corps of Engineers although it has not yet been approved.
