The proposed project is an interim remedial measure designed to (1) prevent contaminated groundwater containing volatile organic compounds from entering the storm drain which discharges to an unnamed tributary adjacent to the site on the west side of Highway 101; and (2) reduce and/or eliminate concentrations of volatile organic compounds in the unnamed tributary on the east side of Highway 101.
