Document Description
Lake Skinner has historically been and is presently used to store water imported by Metropolitan District of Southern California (MWD), which water is delivered to users within the San Diego (Fallbrook). Fallbrook is now authorized to divert and store water in Lake Skinner, and deliver that water via existing MWD and SDCWA facilities to fallbrook. This local source of supply will reduce Fallbrook's reliance on imported water supplies, making additional supplies available to the many other users of those supplies and decreasing demands on Northern California and Colorado River supplies.
