Document Description
The proposed project is a reclamation plan for the Colson Quarry prepared pursuant to County Ordinance and the California Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA). Under SMARA, the quarry operator is responsible for the reclamation of lands affected by mining since January 1, 1976. The proposed reclamation plan (98-RP-001) includes both the quarry site and the adjacent areas within the Los Padres National Forest which have been affected by mining activities.
