Document Description
This levee was damaged during the "El Nino" floods in winter and spring of 1998. Wavewash eroded the waterside tow of the levee along the west Yolo Bypass levee from the north Putah Creek levee to the south levee of Willow Slough Bypass. The levee will be repaired with compacted earthfill, and preexisting rock revetment replaced, then seeded with an herbaceous seed mix to prevent surface erosion. There will be no significant environmental impacts associated with this project, because measures will be implemented to avoid impacts to endanagered species.
