Document Description
RD 150 is located about 12 miles south of Sacramento, near Clarksburg in Yolo County. The project area was damaged during the "EL Nino" floods in winter and spring of 1998. Damages to the right bank of the Sacramento River and the bank of Elk Slough include waterside scour holes and slope erosion, and two landside boils. Slope erosion along the Sacramento River will be repaired with erosion control matting anchor with rock revetment, and planted with tules and native grass. 35 elderberries on a levee repair site will be replanted to an adjacent area more than 10 feet away. There will be no significant environmental impacts associated with this project.
